![]() Speaking of close games: Miami sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 115-111 win over the Brooklyn Nets this past Saturday. Doncic's night made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 33 points. On a positive note, point guard Luka Doncic shot 6-for-13 from downtown and almost finished with a triple-double on 45 points, 15 boards, and eight assists, and this makes it back-to-back games in which he has scored at least 46% of Dallas' points. It was close but no cigar for the Mavericks as they fell 99-97 to the Los Angeles Clippers this past Saturday. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Dallas now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds. After a few days' rest for both teams, they will meet up at 7:30 p.m. The Dallas Mavericks are 3-10 against the Miami Heat since January of 2016, but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit Tuesday.
